Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to the saddle, our guided trail rides are perfect for riders of various skill levels.
*Riding Attire should consist of closed toe athletic shoes or boots with small heel and long pants or leggings for comfort.
Trail Rides at the Barn

Choose individual or group guided trail rides. Before heading out, every ride begins in our arena, giving you time to get comfortable with your horse and receive basic instruction if needed. This helps warm up the horses, assess your skills, build your confidence, and ensure you’re fully prepared to enjoy the beauty of our trails in a safe and controlled manner.

Raven Rock Guided Trail Ride

Black Creek Hill Farms offers guided trail rides at the stunning Raven Rock State Park. Explore one of two scenic 4-mile horse trails featuring picturesque views and a beautiful creek crossing.

What's To Expect:

Your horse will be loaded into a trailer with all necessary tack and transported to the park

We will meet at the barn and travel to Raven Rock. Once there, we’ll unload the horses
-
3-4 hour trail ride covering about 4 miles through the park’s breathtaking landscapes

Be Prepared: Wear appropriate attire, Bring sunscreen, water, snack if needed.

We offer a snack/lunch option.

Neigh & Nibble: Enjoy a beautifully crafted charcuterie board with a selection of fine meats, cheeses, and savory snacks, along with fresh fruits and veggies—some of our horses' favorite treats! Perfect for a relaxing picnic after your trail ride or farm visit.

Riding Disclaimers and Policy
*At Black Creek Hill Farms, everyone’s safety is our top priority, helmets are required for minors (provided) to ensure a safe and secure riding experience. For adults, helmets are optional but highly recommended for added safety and peace of mind. Closed-toe shoes are required.
*To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, including our horses, new customers must demonstrate the ability to ride and control a horse confidently before heading out on a trail ride.
